The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program designed in collaboration with Summit Technology Academy and Metropolitan Community College (MCC) offers an exciting opportunity to fast-track your nursing career. This innovative program empowers students to meet nursing program prerequisites while earning an Associate of Arts (AA) Degree, and ultimately securing a coveted spot in one of five esteemed nursing programs in the Kansas City area.

Prerequisite Preparation at Summit Technology Academy and MCC

The journey begins at Summit Technology Academy, where aspiring nurses gain a solid foundation in science, math, and healthcare fundamentals. High school students in this program receive specialized training and education to help them excel in their future nursing studies. Concurrently, students will complete their general education requirements and nursing program prerequisites by enrolling in courses at Metropolitan Community College (MCC), leading to the attainment of an Associate of Arts Degree. 

Seamless Transition to Nursing Programs

Upon successfully completing the prerequisite coursework and earning the AA Degree at MCC, students are granted a spot in one of the prestigious nursing programs in the Kansas City area. These programs include:
